The difference between whether an organization achieves its goals or fails to meet its goals lies in defining the difference between technology leadership and management. This can be a difficult transformation, and may require the IT group to assume the responsibility of coaching its customers through the technology planning process. It also requires clearly defined processes and measures so that we know exactly how we are performing.
