The Department of Real Estate Services provides support and service functions on behalf of the City of Richmond for the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of city-owned real estate. This department also works on negotiations for easements for city projects and with other departments and agencies on various projects. In addition, this department works with the Department of Public Works on the closing of public alleys and streets.
