The Richmond Retirement System is administered by a seven-member Board of Trustees for terms of three years. The City Council shall appoint five members, at least two of whom shall be members of the “classified service” (city employees). The Mayor shall appoint two members. The Board serves in accordance with Chapter 5B.01 of the City of Richmond Charter.
