As of September 1, 2006, all members of the Defined Benefit Plan are required to make contributions to the System on a pre-tax basis.  The contribution rates are indicated below:

• Defined Benefit (without Enhanced Option):  1.5 percent

• Defined Benefit (with Enhanced Option):  5.45 percent
