Our mantra over the first four years was “Building a Better Richmond”. For my second term, we’re setting our sights even higher...we are “Building the Best Richmond.

We are building the Best Richmond because that is what we all deserve...The stars are truly aligned in our favor and we are poised to do great things.

Together we will "Build a Better Richmond," with world-class education, fiscal responsibility, healthcare, economic development, inclusive neighborhood plans and initiatives, and the creation of safe and secure neighborhoods.

New School Construction

"Since before taking office, education has been and still is a priority for me. I’ve worked tirelessly to make strides for the children of our City, and we are raising expectations in Richmond with the construction of new schools."
Pedestrian, Bicycling and Trails Planning Commission

"I established the Pedestrian, Bicycling and Trails Planning Commission to support pedestrian and bicycle travel throughout the City of Richmond. We aim to become a community where walking and bicycling are integral parts of the transportation system, as well as an effective selling point for economic development and tourism efforts."
