Communications Officer of the Month

Congratulations to the Department’s Communications Officer of the Month for December: Tiffany Clarke!

Though CO Clarke has only been with the Department a short time, her enthusiasm, dedication and hard work has produced great results and spread positive motivation throughout DEC.

She has demonstrated phenomenal service, currently holding an above average Quality Assurance score of 95.1, with a 27-second Police Priority Dispatch Time, and a 16-second Average Event acceptance time.

But it was a heartfelt call we received last month thanking CO Clarke for her efforts that shows why she’s our Communications Officer of the Month. The woman was calling to personally thank CO Clarke for helping keep her sister calm when she called 911 after finding her sister unresponsive on the floor.

CO Clarke was able to keep the sister focused on the task at hand while asking all of the pertinent questions and dispatching emergency personnel to help the sister who had fallen. The fallen sister is now recovering well from her injury and has requested to meet CO Clarke in person to thank her for her all that she did.

This is just one example of the great work being done by Tiffany Clarke. That’s why she’s our December Communications Officer of the Month! Thank you and congratulations!
