Communications Officer of the Month

No matter what the call or what the language, CO Julia Correa is always quick to answer the line at DEC and to provide a rapid response that exceeds Departmental goals.

CO Correa often goes the extra mile to ensure safety and satisfaction to both officers and citizens calling. She boosts the morale of the Spanish-speaking citizens of Richmond by providing them with competent, compassionate and tier one service in their native language.

Thanks to her proficient translation skills, she’s able to break down many language barrier calls, saving time and helping to provide a much more efficient response to a citizen in distress. She handled approximately 25 of those calls last month.

But her good numbers don’t stop there. During the past 3 months, she has consistently increased her quality assurance score from the previous month and last month answered the phone in .04 seconds of the 417 calls she took and had dispatched help within 34 seconds. Wow!

Good job and congratulations Communications Officer Julia Correa—our Communications Officer of the Month for February!
