This week Crime Stoppers needs the publics’ help in solving a shooting that took place in Richmond near the 17th St Farmers Market.

On May 14 at approximately 2:10 a.m., officers responded to the area for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Thankfully the victim is going to be okay.

Police believe the shooting was the result from an altercation in the parking area of the farmers market however; the victim was not involved in the fight. Detectives are still in the early stages of their investigation and are asking for anyone with information to come forward.
