Morning News: This is what 'thanks' is all about!

Early in the weekend, someone broke into the Fairfield community house and stole 11 turkeys and other food that was to go to local families for their Thanksgiving.

But yesterday the Richmond community responded loud and clear that the theft would not be the end of this story.

One by one the vehicles pulled up to the community center to bring the donations: 41 turkeys and all the trimmings!

Now, 41 families will have a Thanksgiving to remember thanks to everyone who decided to change the story.

Thanks to Lt. Jody Blackwell, Commander Roger Russell, First Precinct and everyone who helped put 'thanks' back on the table.
