Officer of the Month

The Officer of the Month for December is Fourth Precinct Officer Chelsea Ferguson.

Officer Ferguson has always wanted to be involved in law enforcement – and we’re sure happy she chose the Richmond Police Department for her career.

From discussing points of law – to allow for better enforcement – to helping an out-of-town senior find his car near the Convention Center the other night (we got a letter thanking her) – Ferguson has been a great force on evening shift in downtown.

She also has an easy ability to connect with the citizens of her beat – in fact – she’s been called ‘a natural’.
