Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers is asking for the public to assist the Virginia Commonwealth University Police Department in identifying and locating a 2017 red Ford Escape SE that was involved in a felony hit and run that occurred in the City of Richmond.

On September 3 around 10 in the evening a pedestrian was struck by the vehicle in the intersection of West Grace and Belvedere Streets. After striking the victim, the vehicle fled the area. Security cameras captured images of the vehicle, which can be viewed on our website, Investigators believe that there may be witnesses or individuals that have knowledge of the vehicle that is crucial to the investigation.

I am Detective Benjamin Toderico with the Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers, reminding you that we don’t need to know who you are to know who they are.
