Someone attempted to rob a SunTrust Bank in the City of Richmond in November of last year and Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers wants your help in identifying the suspect.

Around 1:37 in the afternoon on November 14, 2017 the suspect went into the Suntrust Bank at 2500 East Broad Street and handed a teller a note demanding cash. Frustrated at the pace of the teller, the suspect walked out of the bank without receiving any money.

The suspect was a black male with some facial hair and was wearing a black knit cap, jean jacket and jean pants. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the incident and security cameras captured clear images of the suspect. You can see pictures of the suspect on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

If you can identify the suspect or have information about any unsolved crime or fugitive wanted in the Metro Richmond Area call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000. You can also submit your tip through the P3 app. Download the app and submit your tip on your Apple or Android mobile device. Both methods are anonymous and if your tip leads to an arrest, you could receive a cash reward up to $1000.
