Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers is asking for the public to identify a package thief for the Richmond Police Department.

On Friday January 26, a package was delivered to a home in the 400 block of North 26th Street. Around 7:40 in the evening, the suspect walked onto the porch and knocked on the front door. When no one answered the door, the suspect picked up the package and left.

The suspect is a black male with dark facial hair. He was wearing glasses, a Chicago Bulls sweatshirt under a dark jacket, a green trucker style baseball cap and cargo pants. You can see pictures of the suspect on our Facebook and @CrimeStoppersRVA.

If you have information about this theft or any unsolved crime or fugitive wanted in the Metro Richmond Area call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000. You can also submit your tip through the P3 app. Your tip may crack the case for the Richmond Police and provide closure for Michael Dobbs’ family. Crime Stoppers wants to remind you that tips that lead to an arrest are eligible for a cash reward.
