Steps to become registered as a Supplier for the City of Richmond

To become a supplier for the City of Richmond, you must follow these steps.

  1. Register Online. You must fill out the entire application and hit the submit button at the end.

  2. Now, you must fill out the Vendor ACH form and EDI Payment Agreement for Contractors. This is a fillable PDF. Enter your information, print out the forms, and sign them.

  3. Fill out the IRS W-9. This is also a fillable PDF. Enter your information, print out the forms, and sign them.

  4. Please scan and attach completed forms within the online Supplier Portal in the space provided. If you have difficulty attaching the documents within the portal, you may email the forms to supplierregistration@richmondgov.com for assistance.

  5. Only after all forms are received and reviewed by Procurement can you be approved as a supplier. Your application will be rejected if you fail to complete all steps.

Steps to update your Supplier Information with the City of Richmond

  1. Update your information on our Supplier Portal.

  2. If your banking information is changing or you need to enroll in our EDI Payment system, please fill out our Vendor ACH Change Form and print it out.

  3. Fill out the IRS W-9 if you have changes you need to make. This is also a fillable PDF. Enter your information, print out the forms, and sign them.

  4. Please scan and attach completed forms within the online Supplier Portal in the space provided. If you have difficulty attaching the documents within the portal, you may email the forms to supplierregistration@richmondgov.com for assistance.
