Fishing & Hunting Licenses The Treasurer's Office, Room 107 in City Hall, 900 E. Broad St., Richmond, VA 23219, sells fishing and hunting licenses. Fishing licenses may also be purchased at several Bait and Tackle shops in the area. See the Verizon Yellow Pages for a listing. Treasurer 2009-11-01
Food Sales A health permit, business license, and other vendor requirements must be met before a citizen can sell food in the City of Richmond. Being issued a business license in the first step. Contact the Finance Department License Division at (804)205-3912 for more information on applying for a license. The Department of Social Services Child and Family Services Division offers Family Preservation providing financial assistance to families with children who are in need of emergency and supportive services. Social Services 2015-08-14
Food Stamps / EBT Card
(SNAP/SNAPET)
The Department of Social Services Economic Support and Independence Division offers a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) which provides nutrition assistance to low-income individuals and families in the form of an Electronic Benefit Transfer Card (EBT). Employment Training (SNAPET) is offered to provide job readiness and support so that dependence on Food Stamps is no longer needed. Social Services 2015-08-14
