The Richmond City Department of Social Services Fatherhood Initiative engages fathers within the Greater Richmond Metro area who are eager to become positive and consistent forces in their children’s lives, seek to strengthen family bonds and desire to work collaboratively with mothers to co-parent their children. The Initiative partners with other City of Richmond Departments, Local and State governments and community agencies to accomplish its mission of “Engaging fathers while strengthening families.”
