Richmond Metropolitan Convention and Visitors Bureau Center

Richmond Metropolitan Convention and Visitors Bureau Center offers brochures and maps on attractions, entertainment, lodging, dining and shopping. Travel Counselors assist with lodging reservations and directions. Special discounted lodging rates are available for walk-in customers depending on availability.

Virginia Capital Visitors Center

The State of Virginia operates the historic Bell Tower Visitor Center on the State Capitol grounds at 101 N. 9th St. Map It.

Richmond Region Visitor Center

The Richmond Region Visitor Center is the main visitor center for the Richmond region, located at 405 N. 3rd St. Map It, the northeast corner of Third and Marshall Streets, on the first floor of the new Greater Richmond Convention Center.

This offers a state-of-the-art theater, attraction information, assistance with lodging accommodations throughout the region, a gift shop with an extensive selection of Richmond Region merchandise and service from knowledgeable, on-site visitor counselors. Ample parking is available at the parking deck at the corner of 3rd and Marshall Streets.

Visitor Center at Tredegar Iron Works
Richmond National Battlefield Park Civil War Visitor Center

If you're downtown by the James River and Canal Walk, the Visitor Center at Tredegar Iron Works is a convenient stop, located within Richmond National Battlefield Park Civil War Visitor Center, at 470 Tredegar St. On-site visitor counselors can direct you to attractions and lodging accommodations.

Richmond International Airport (RIC)

A visitor center is also located at the Richmond International Airport (RIC). RIC is located at exit 197 off I-64, East of Richmond, at 1 Richard E. Byrd Terminal Drive.

The operating hours of this center are 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday through Friday. Call (804)236-3260 for more information.
