I have had the honor of representing the residents of the Seventh District on the Richmond City Council
since 1999. Areas of special interest to my constituents include youth and family success, education, public safety and
neighborhood improvements.
Working together, we have made several notable achievements in our district and I welcome your involvement in helping to
bring even more improvements to our community.
I am currently a member of Council’s Governmental Operations committee; Health, Human Services and Education committee,

I also chair Richmond’s Slave Trail Commission and serve on the Advisory Board of Health, Richmond Regional Planning
