In the City's Business Technology Planning Process, DIT partners with City Agencies to assess: 1) the Current State of automation in the agency; 2) the Target State of how the business hopes to use automation in the future; and 3) a plan or Roadmap of projects to move from Current to Target. The Roadmap is a living document that is updated several times throughout the year, as priorities change and projects are completed. Current and Target State assessments are made every 3 years or as requested by the business partner.
