Facility Reservations and Fees
Planning a wedding or family reunion? A softball tournament? Need a portable stage for your concert? All picnic shelters, garden areas, community centers, athletic fields and other facilities in the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities are available for your use.

Some permits may require a $15 processing fee. The amount for staff charges may be subject to change. There is an additional 10% charge for non-city residents.

    Tennis Camp $42 per session for youth
    Volleyball Tournaments $30 per court, per day (outdoor)
    Carillon in Byrd Park Meeting - 1 day (weekday) 4 hours or less - attended by 200 people or less $185 $40 per hour with a 4 hour minimum, operational fee (applicable to all events).
    Also, a $75 move-in fee between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
    Meeting - 1 day (weekday) 4 hours or less with more than 200 people in attendance $325
    Piano Rental $50 per day
    Wedding Receptions $1,250 per day $250 non-refundable deposit for damages to the building.

    An additional $250 per 4 hours for the use of the grounds and steps with an interior rental.
    City-Owned Equipment Showmobile/Stage II $600 Per day The rental fee does not include the delivery of equipment.

    Users are responsible for pick-up, transportation of and return of any equipment.

    Additionally, the user is responsible for staffing cost at an overtime rate.
    Community Centers & Park Houses Meeting - open to the public (Civic Association rate) $25 per 2 hours $40 per staff person for setting up or preparing any room. **This fee does not apply to the Roundhouse at Byrd Park.**

    Staffing (supervision and custodial cost will apply during non-operating hours.

    In addition, the user is responsible for staffing costs at an overtime rate.

    And, the Belle Isle Environmental Education Center is $45 per day
    Meeting - Private $130 per 4 hours $40 per staff person for setting up or preparing any room. **This fee does not apply to the Roundhouse at Byrd Park.**

    In addition, the user is responsible for staffing costs at an overtime rate.

    Any reservation made for a facility on an official City holiday shall pay an additional $255.

    Dogwood Dell Amphitheater in Byrd Park Simple Acess $800 per day $25 per hour with a 4 hour minimum, per staff person for all events.

    The fee does not include access to equipment tunnel or dressing rooms.

    NOTE: No admission fee shall be charged for performances or activities.
    Full Access $1,125 per day
    Hickory Hill Community Center Auditorium $300 per 4 hours or $650 for a full day Portions of Hickory Hill Community Center, equipment and services related thereto may be used with the approval of the department and payment of the rental fees.

    Plus the actual cost of staffing the facility - computed at the overtime rate for personnel.

    Breakout Rooms (Private Meetings) $125 for every 4 hours
    Civic Association Meetings $25 for every 2 hours
    Dining Area $250 for every 4 hours
    Kitchen Facility $75 per event
    Special Event on Grounds $650 per full day
    Youth Events $600 Plus 3 off-duty officers required
    Simple Ground Use $15 per hour
    Ball Diamond $15
    P/A System $25 per day
    Round Tables $8.50

    Parks & Park Houses Any function with food & with less than 50 people $250 per 4 hours Plus the actual cost of staffing the facility - computed at the overtime rate for personnel.
    Commercial Use for Non-profit Organizations $25 per hour
    Commercial Use for Profit Organizations $70 per hour
    Events $650 per day for events with less than 300 people and for events with 301 plus.

    $850 per day for organizations where grounds are being used to raise funds.
    Picnic Shelters $55 per shelter
    Reserved Use of Public Grounds $15 per hour
    Wedding - Class I $200 per 4 hours for over 150 in attendance
    Wedding - Class II $100 per 2 hours for 25 to 150 in attendance
    Wedding - Class III $15 per hour for less than 25 in attendance
    Pine Camp Arts & Community Center
    Special Conditions for Rental of this Facility **The following special conditions apply to all rental agreements at Pine Camp**:

    A $15 (non-refundable) Permit Processing Fee is charged.

    A User Agreement or Other Special Contracts must be signed and fees paid prior to use.

    No Alcohol is allowed without a special permit.

    Security and technical staff, and special permits are to be provided by the renter.

    The user may be held responsible for damages caused to the facility during their rental period.

    In addition, staffing (supervision and custodial costs) will apply during non-operating hours at a rate of $22 per hour.

    Additionally, the user is responsible for staffting costs at an overtime rate.

    There is an additional 10% charge for non-city residents.

    Private Group Meeting $100 per 4 hours **Additional charges may apply - See the notes under the community center section.**
    Group Functions $150 - up to 50 people

    $250 - up to 100 people
    (4 hours)

    Theater $375 for up to 5 hours

    *$750 for over 5 hours
    *$110 Non-refundable deposit is required for the theater and must be paid 30-days in advance. The deposit will go toward the rental fee.

    The seating capacity of the theater is 200.
    Dance Studio $35 for every 2 hour session for rehersals For other events in the dance studio - see the rates for group functions listed above.
