Project Homeless Connect 2009 is looking for over 1000 volunteers to work with service providers in a one-of-a-kind partnership to connect
chronically homeless adults to as many on-site services as possible in one day. Volunteer will be trained to assist clients navigate the
array of services based upon priorities established by the client.

Richmond Walk For Lupus Now
The Lupus Foundation of America is hosting the Richmond “Walk for Lupus Now” at the Richmond international Raceway, On Saturday October
31, 2009. They are looking for volunteers and walkers. If you are interested in either or both please contact them at

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO WORK WITH THE ELDERLY
The Senior and Special Needs Initiative along with ElderFriends are currently recruiting Visiting Volunteers to assist Richmond’s isolated elderly residents. The time commitment only requires a couple of hours one day per week.
