- What is Survivor Day?
Richmond Ready is a concept the City adopted to ensure that the citizens,
public safety officials and private partners in planning, are educated in preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation.
The Richmond Public School system is partnering with the City in conducting four, 4 hour training sessions this calendar year.
Two sessions will be held on the north of the James River and the other two will be held on the south of the James River.
Upon completion of the 4 hour training session, each household will receive a survival kit to guarantee that our citizens are ready for a "New Beginning"
and are able to deal with such events.
