- What is Survivor Day?
Richmond Ready is a concept the City adopted to ensure planning, preparedness, response,
recovery and mitigation are not just actions taken by public safety officials and private
partners but also the private citizen. Being prepared can reduce fear, anxiety, and losses
that accompany disasters. The issuance of a survival kit following a 4 hour training session
will give each household that edge of confidence! Our citizens must be ready and able to
deal with such events.
