Sept. 21, 2008: 3-Alarm fire on the Southside.
South Richmond companies were dispatched for smoke in the area of the Southside Plaza, located in the 4000blk of Hull St.  Responding on the box were Quint 22, Truck 17, Engine 23, Quint 20, Rescue 3 and Battalion 3.  Quint 22 arrived on the scene in the shopping center and had moderate smoke conditions blanketing the parking lot. Sept. 19, 2008: Firefighters save pets in a Churchill house fire.
Quint 1, Quint 8, Truck 15, Quint 10, Rescue 1, and Battalion 1 responded to a house fire on the 800 block of N. 35th St. Rescue 1 was the first unit on scene and reported heavy fire from the A side of the structure. Read More
