TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
The City values continuing education and considers it a vital part of employee
development. The Tuition Assistance Program is designed to encourage continued
training and education for employees.
The Tuition Assistance Program provides two-thirds reimbursement of the total
tuition cost of courses taken per semester or quarter up to a maximum of $200
for undergraduate courses and $300 for graduate courses. Employees must attain
the grade of "B" or greater for reimbursement. Reimbursements apply
to employees desiring to begin or continue their college education or pursue
job-related training.
Employees pursuing job-related training at the Richmond Technical Center are
eligible for reimbursement up to $125 of the total cost of courses taken per
semester.
