My Lan Tran joined the City of Richmond in March 2003 as the Program Manager for the Office of Minority Business Development. She served as the International Marketing and Research Manager for Virginia’s Governor Office of International Trade and Investment prior to coming to the City of Richmond.  She has worked as the Workforce Development Administrator for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  Also, My Lan has worked for the Brockton Area Private Industry Council in Massachusetts as an Employer Services Manager, Grant Oversight/Monitor and One Stop Career Center Director.
