It Starts In Parks - Passport to Fun Rules, Guidelines and Prize Information

The Richmond Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities is home to more than 57 parks and open spaces, 138 tennis courts, 60 playgrounds, 56 ball diamonds, and numerous tot lots, picnic areas, exercise trails and much more! The Department also takes care of more than 22 statues and monuments and 7 cemeteries, operates 24 community centers, and is responsible for the Dogwood Dell Amphitheater, the historic Landmark Theater and the Richmond Coliseum. There is plenty to see and do in Richmond!
With this Passport as your guide, you will discover much you didn't know! Be sure to answer all the questions. Good luck on your explorations, and enjoy your Passport to Fun!

The first 25 entries will received a It Starts In Parks jacket (all answers must be correct)
The next 25 entries will receive a It Starts In Parks folding chair (all answers must be correct)
All other entries with correct answers receive It Starts In Parks lunch bags
Entries submitted with incorrect answers will receive an It Starts In Parks water bottle

Take your camera along as you visit the Department's parks and facilities and take your best shot! You could win even more prizes and have your photo published on the Department's website!
Submit your photos by the 15th of each month and our distinguished panel of judges will select a winning entry for display.
Photos can be charming pictures of you and your friends enjoying your explorations, or scenic views of Department parks or facilities. You're the photographer!
All photos must be submitted with a completed Photographic Release Form and accompanied by a brief paragraph identifying the people and site. If you request anonymity, the Department will simply identify you and your subjects by first name and the initial of the last name. Note: All photos are preferred to be digital (high resolution, 1 MB to 3 MB) and should be submitted with an 8 x 10 hard copy.
