The City of Richmond Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities has the teen scene every Friday at one of our community centers. You will have the opportunity to dance, swim, sing karaoke, and do much more. We even take trips roller skating, to the movies, bowling and many other local hot spots. Teen Councils Do you want to be a part of club that allows you to make your own decisions? Then come and join one of our Teen Advisory Councils. Our Teen Advisory Councils meet at least twice a month and have the opportunity to plan trips, fundraisers, and community service projects. All of our Teen councils get together once a month and have training session and breakout groups. Check with you local community center to see when their club meets. Click here for an application. Teen Week, June 2-6, 2008 This is a week that is planned for teens, by teens. Monday -Thursday each Community center will have special programs each day for teens and on Friday we will take all registered teens on a special field trip. Please stay tune for more information to come. Counselor-In-Training This is our summer job training program that allows teen to work hand and hand with professional Recreation staff and receive a paid stipend.
