Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week
Richmond Police Department
From: Detective John Flores

Number: 09-25
Date of Release: 06/29/09

For 25 years, Crime Stoppers has been paying rewards for information that leads to an arrest. Your tips solve crimes! Crime Stoppers is proud to support our local law enforcement partners as they ramp up to keep our streets safe this Fourth of July weekend.

You can do your part to keep our streets safe by following these easy rules.

If you’re travelling this weekend, allow extra time for traffic and obey the rules of the road. Always wear your safety belt and make sure that small children are safely secured in child seats. If you drink, don’t drive and please use a designated driver. By taking these easy steps you can help save lives and help law enforcement at the same time.

If you have information about this crime or any crime in The City of Richmond, or the counties of Henrico, Hanover, New Kent, Goochland or Charles City, call CRIME STOPPERS AT 780-1000.

You do not have to give your name or testify in court. You will be given a code number to protect your identity, and your information, if of value to police, could be worth up to a $1,000 cash reward.

When you call Crime Stoppers you will remain anonymous. Remember we don’t need to know who you are to know who they are.
