The Richmond City Sheriffs Office includes almost 500 sworn and civilian employees who work to secure and promote the safety of our community and hopefully, to make a difference in people’s lives.

Working to effectuate Sheriff Woody's vision of a better agency, the Command Staff manages both operational and administrative functions. 

Spearheaded by Sheriff Woody, the team strives to partner with faith-based and community-based organizations to empower ex-offenders to become productive members of society.
