Programs
Adult Stabilization
Single adults who are disabled, elderly, homeless or displaced due to code enforcement actions can receive assistance in order to become self-sufficient and independent.
Through the program, social services staff will address emergencies to minimize the risk of neglect and abuse. Counseling may be offered to parents/caretakers or students. A social worker will assess the current family situation and make a referral to the appropriate community resource or agency. The social worker may also attend court hearings.
Some of the available services are offered without regard to income. However, most services require customers to meet income guidelines at 50 percent of the State Median Income Scale.
