Family and Adult Stabilization
Adult Day Care and Companion Services, Emergency Shelter and other Emergency Services:
The focus of family and adult stabilization
is the prevention of abuse, neglect, exploitation, and out-of-home placements.
Companion services enable
the elderly and disabled adults to remain in their homes by providing home-based
services such as assisting adults with bathing, shopping etc. Emergency services
provide financial assistance. When these are crises involving the absence of food in the home, utility cutoff notices
or rental eviction.
