Programs
State and Local Hospitalization
This program is a medical assistance program for adults who are not eligible for Medicaid because they do not meet criteria for a Medicaid covered group. The amount of funding is capped each fiscal year which runs May 1-April 30. The program offers assistance with inpatient and outpatient expenses. The eligibility period is up to 180 days from the date of the first covered service. The participant's income will be screened at 100 percent of the federal poverty level. Resources cannot exceed $2,000 for one person or $3,000 for two or more persons.
