1. Where can I get a smoke detector?

Smoke detectors can be obtained by calling the fire departmment at 646-1526.

2. Can you provide a fire truck or a person to come to school events and community events?

Yes we can, but we need a written request faxed or mailed to the Division of Support Services requesting a fire truck
or individual to attend a community event. The phone number is 646-1526 and the fax number is 646-1434.

3. How do you dispose of old materials such as paint, gasoline etc.?
Do you burn it or put in the trash?
|

First, loosen the lid and place it in a safe position so that the flammable material can evaporate.
Once it has hardened you can put in the trash.

4. Do you send fire trucks to birthday parties?

|
Yes, we do. Contact the Division of Support Services at 646-1526 to make a request.
