On May 4, 2009, the City Planning Commission adopted amendments to the Downtown Plan.
The City Planning Commission also adopted a resolution recommending approval of the amendments to City Council. The tentative schedule for City Council consideration of the
amendments is:
• June 16, 2009 – Amendment ordinance considered by City Council’s Land Use, Housing & Transportation Committee (3:00pm on 2nd
floor of City Hall in City Council Chambers, 900 E. Broad Street)
• July 13, 2009 – Public hearing on amendment ordinance at City
Council meeting and possible City Council action (6:00pm on 2nd floor of City Hall in City Council Chambers, 900 E. Broad Street)
• July 27, 2009 – City Council action on ordinance, if it is continued on July 13, 2009 (6:00pm on 2nd floor of City Hall in City
Council Chambers, 900 E. Broad Street)
