Richmond Day Reporting Center

The Richmond Day Reporting Center (RDRC) is a local community-based program designed to divert individuals from jail while maintaining public safety through recidivism reduction.

The goals are to effectively supervise and treat medium and high risk offenders by addressing identified criminogenic needs and to ensure coordination and continuity of clinical care.

The desired outcomes for participants are to satisfy all court obligations, address maladaptive behaviors, obtain employment and/or job readiness skills, and to reduce the individual’s risk to reoffend by addressing criminal thinking and improving decision making abilities.

Participants complete assessments which help tailor the program to the participant’s individual needs and goals. Interventions include an individualized Behavior Change Plan and may include any of the targeted interventions listed below.

  • Alcohol / Drug Testing

  • Anger Management

  • Cognitive Behavioral Interventions

  • Employment / Job Readiness Skills with the Office of Community Wealth Building
