Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week
Richmond Police Department
From: Detective Ronald Brown

Number: 05-01
Date of Release: 01/03/2005

Happy New Year from the board of directors and law enforcement officers from the Metro Richmond area. This week Crime Stoppers wants to thank you for continuing to make this program a success.
Last year hundreds of you in the community called in anonymously and helped us solve more than 200 crimes. Crime Stoppers also celebrated its 20th year in 2004, and gave thousands of dollars in reward money. With the generous contribution of the media, Crime Stoppers is able to get the message to you.
We look forward to this New Year and hope that you will continue to make metro Richmond safe.
If you have information about any crime in the City of Richmond or the counties of Henrico, Hanover, New Kent, Goochland, or Charles City, call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
You do not have to give your name or testify in court. You will be given a code number to protect your identity, and your information if of value to police, could be worth up to a $1,000 cash reward.
When you call Crime Stoppers you will remain anonymous, remember we don’t need to know who you are to know who they are.
