   This week Crime Stoppers needs your help with solving a 2001 murder.
   On October 19, 2001, Shamar O’Neil King was shot inside of an apartment in the 2000 block of Lakeview Avenue. He was transported to VCU Medical Center where he died shortly after his arrival. Detectives immediately began investigating the shooting death of the 16-year-old. Since then we have not been able to get any further information to solve this murder.
   Our investigation continues and we are hopeful that you may remember something that may be helpful to this investigation.
