This week Crime Stoppers needs your help to solve the murder of Taurean Smith.
Residents in the 1900 block of Raven Street reported hearing gunshots on July 24, 2004, at 11:30 p.m.
On July 27, 2004, Mr. Smith’s body was found in a wooded area near Chelsea and Lebanon streets. Taurean, also known as “Pert” lived in the 1900 block of Raven Street and was well known in the Whitcomb Court area.

If you have information about the murder of Taurean Smith or information of any other crime in the City of Richmond or the counties of Henrico, Hanover, New Kent, Goochland, or Charles City, call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
