   Crime Stoppers needs your assistance to help solve a 2001 murder.
   On October 19, 2001, Shamar O’Neil King was shot inside of an apartment in the 2000 block of Lakeview Avenue. He was transported to VCU Medical Center where he died shortly after his arrival. Detectives continue to investigate the shooting death of then 16-year-old Shamar.
   We are hopeful that you will remember something that may be helpful in solving this case.
