Morris knew of individuals matching that description who hung out with a group on Fairfax Avenue. He tracked one of the suspects down and placed him under arrest for curfew violation. During the interview process the suspect implicated himself and five other individuals.    Officer Morris continued to track the remaining suspects in the robbery and on July 18th arrested two more people.    He continued his mission on July 19th with the arrest of two more suspects in the same incident.    These arrests are an example of Officer Morris’ persistence and dedication to his work.    Morris also makes himself accessible to the community by spending a large portion of his time on foot patrol. He has developed a relationship with the community and residents trust him with information.    As a result he made six felony arrests and seized two guns in July.    For these reasons Morris is named the Department Officer of the Month for July.
