Officer Daniel Burgess of Sector 111
- Made 29 misdemeanor and nine felony arrests
- Made 10 trespassing arrests of known prostitutes
- Stopped a DUI suspect, which led to the recovery of a gun and drugs
During the month of June, Officer Burgess recovered four guns and made four drug arrests. Officer Burgess also has taken the initiative to ensure the Department’s designated prostitution-free zones live up to their name. He follows up on warrants for those who fail to appear in court on prostitution charges.
The June Officers of the Month for their respective precincts are: Officer Paul Cline, Second Precinct; Officer Daniel Dixon, Third Precinct; and Officer Tanekia Owens, Fourth Precinct.
