Department Officer of the Month -- November 2005

Officer Michael Talley -- Sector 211
Officer Talley excels in both the enforcement and community relations aspects of his job. In November he made 11 felony arrests, served 10 felony warrants, seized an array of narcotics, and confiscated 2 guns.
Officer Talley is also an active mentor to young people making himself a familiar face at Swansboro Elementary. He has participated in the school’s career day and “Red Ribbon” week. He has gotten to know the administrators and counselors at Swansboro who consider him a valuable resource in their effort to provide a well-rounded education to their students.
